Jesper Kirstein is CEO of Kirstein A/S. Prior to setting up Kirstein A/S, his previous employment included positions as stockbroker manager and bank manager. He is associated with the department of Finance at Copenhagen Business School.

Jesper Kirstein has an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Copenhagen and has completed supplementary studies at Stanford University and INSEAD.

Anne Mette Lytzen is responsible for human resources and communication in Kirstein. Her tasks include among other things recruitment, direct marketing, maintenance of the company's language policy and general internal and external communication.

Anne Mette has an MA in Scandinavian Languages and Literature from the University of Aarhus.

Helle is employed as office assistant and she has a number of administrative tasks such as filing, receiving guests and preparing meetings. Helle will also be responsible for Kirstein's contact with suppliers and provide administrative assistance to the employees.

Helle is educated within office and administration and has previously worked at the University of Copenhagen.

Nina Schmiegelow contributes to the tasks in the department such as maintenance of our website, updating of internal process descriptions and manuals. Furthermore she is handling registration of data from Danish and Nordic Pension companies which is used in both the Department Financial Market Research and Life & Pension.

Nina is studying for her BSc in Economics and Business Administration at Copenhagen Business School.

Nikolaj Eriksen is Head of Department in Search and Selection, which has the responsibility for monitoring and selection of Danish and international asset managers, peer group analyses, assessment of investment strategies and overall asset management.
 

Nikolaj has an M.Sc. in Economics & Finance from the University of Copenhagen (2005) and from Ludvig Maximilians Universität in Munich. Previously, he has been employed in Nordea Life and Pensions' Nordic Finance & Investment department. In addition, he is external lecturer at the University of Copenhagen.

Martin Sønderskov Nielsen is Senior Investment Analyst and is working with monitoring and selection of  international and Danish asset managers.

In addition, he is responsible for our data base of asset managers and assists in peer group analyses and assessment of investment strategies and overall asset management.

 

Martin has a Master of Finance and Strategic Management at Copenhagen Business School.

Jakob Møller Hommel is Senior Investment Analyst and is working with monitoring and selection of  international and Danish asset managers.

In addition, he assists in peer group analyses and assessment of investment strategies and overall asset management.

 

Jakob has a M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School.

Rolf Liljegren is Investment Analyst and is working with monitoring and selection of markets and benchmarks and data from The Federation of Danish Investment Associations.

In addition, he assists in peer group analyses, selection and monitoring of international asset managers, including long/short equity hedgefunds and the development of our self-developed systems.

Furthermore, Rolf has coresponsibility for the maintenance of the company's overall IT-systems.
 
Rolf is studying for his M.Sc. in Economics at the University of Copenhagen.

Casper Hammerich is Investment Analyst and is working with monitoring and selection of markets and performancedata of asset managers.

Furthermore, he is involved in peer group analyses, monitoring and selection of international asset managers and the development and maintenance of our self-developed models to benchmarks and portfolio classifications.

Casper is studying for his M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting from the Copenhagen Business School.

Bertel Rasmussen is Head of Department in Investment & Pension and has the responsibility for the investment strategy of Kirstein's institutional clients and the ongoing monotoring of the clients' portfolios.

Furthermore, he  is working with the preparation of Kirstein A/S' annual pension report regarding market pensions.

 

Bertel has an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Aarhus and previously he has been employed in TDC.

In addition, she is working with the preparation of Kirstein A/S' annual pension report regarding market pensions.

Lars Villumsen is working in Investment & Pension and is primarily focusing on updating and maintaining Kirstein's templates to performance analyses, simulation of costs and recording of data from pension funds, banks ect.

He is studying for his M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting from the Copenhagen Business School.

Jacob Legéne is working in Investment & Pension and has his focus on development and maintenance of models to strategy and reporting, including back tests of recommendations. Furthermore, he is handling various assignments related to the department's clients.

Lars Kjær is working in Investment & Pension and has his focus on development and maintenance of models to strategy and reporting, including back tests of recommendations. Furthermore, he is handling various assignments related to the department's clients.

Jan Willers is Head of Department and has the responsibility for analyses of investment tendencies and investor preferences, e.g. Investor Survey, Distributor Survey and Benelux Investor Survey. In addition, the department also prepares European Surveys and customized solutions for investors and managers.

Jan has a M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School and CERAM Business School in Nice. 

Henrik Hoffmann-Fischer is Senior Investment Analyst and is working with the preparation and composition of the Nordic and Danish Investor Survey, Distributor Survey, Benelux Investor Survey and customized solutions.

Henrik is focusing on business development and the communicative part of the work in the department.

 

Henrik holds a M.Sc. in Political Science and was educated at the School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University, Washington, DC and at the University of Copenhagen.

Martin Nørregård is Senior Investment Analyst and is working with the preparation and composition of the Nordic and Danish Investor Survey, Distributor Survey, Benelux Investor Survey and customized solutions.

Martin has focus on developing models and ensuring that data is correct.

Martin has a Master of Finance and Strategic Management at Copenhagen Business School with stay at Ryerson University, Department of Economics  in Toronto, Canada in 2005 and at Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, Indien in 2007 at their Post-Graduate Program.

Martin comes from a job as cooperate treasurer in Danisco.

Andreas Weilby is Senior Investment Analyst and is primarily working with the preparation of the Nordic and Danish Investor Survey, Distributor Survey and Benelux Investor Survey. He has focus on developing models and ensuring that data is correct.

Andreas is educated accountant and has a M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School. In addition, he is lecturer at the Business Academy Copenhagen North.

Sofie Gravers Jacobsen is Senior Investment Analyst and is working with the preparation of the Danish and Nordic Investor Survey, Distributor Survey, Benelux Investor Survey and customized solutions.

Sofie is focusing on project coordination of European surveys and customized solutions including data collection from investors.

Sofie has a M.Sc. in Political Science from the University of
Copenhagen and a MA.Hon from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland.
