It is essential for us that our investment consultancy adds real value to our clients. We can do this because our advice is independent and professionally based. Such independence is vital. Unfortunately, we often find that banks recommend investment strategies that include specific types of assets, which happen to be offered by the bank. And subsequently, the bank fill its own management products (mutual funds) into the portfolio. There is no independent consultancy, and it rarely gives an optimal return.
